Atlas International Network Ltd. is a group of independent forwarding companies, OTI / NVOCC's and related service providers, working together under the same trade-name and logo. Carefully screened and selected, Atlas members have the flexibility and superior service only locally owned companies can provide. With the help and coverage of Atlas International Network, they can challenge the comparison with any of the big multinationals in the transportation industry. Today already, Atlas International Network members' customers include ADIDAS, ALCAN, BAYER, KONICA, LEVI-STRAUSS, MARKS & SPENCER, NESTLE, SIEMENS, PHILIP MORRIS. History Founded in September 1998, Atlas International Network International Ltd was registered in the UK to protect the trade-name and logo. October 10th 1999: Atlas Line becomes a foreign FMC - registered NVO having a USD 150,000 bond. Soon, founders realized a separate organisation was required to further develop the concept, its members and its programs. January 2001 a new management company under the name of Atlas International Network International Agencies was registered in Belgium. Initially conceived for ocean-freight companies only, the need for total logistics appeared. To meet these new requirements, March 27th 2002 name and legal structure were changed to Atlas International Network Ltd. , a public limited company open to all companies active in the transportation and logistics industry. April 28th 2003: Atlas celebrates its 100th member. We offer to operate under one common trade-name exclusivity through regional activity protection worldwide coverage with over 190 offices in more than 92 countries our own, FMC-approved B/L reduced costs in many aspects and much more !
